you.

yesterday in the car...after getting into trouble while waiting for daddy to come out of the store...our conversation went like this:
you: mommy don't yell at me in my seat
me: don't pull the cord out of the dvd player for the thousandth time. I've asked you not to do that repeatedly.
you: well mommy, when you yelled at me, that "feeled my hurtings."

it took me a split second to decipher what you were saying (hurt my feelings backwards) but when I did, I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I think it might be the single cutest thing you've said to date....
but that would be a toss up with two other somethings you said last week...

me: i love you so much baby girl! so, so, so, much! forever!
you: mommy, i love you out of control.
what?? where do you get these things?
and this next one is straight from your daddy...
you: (right underneath me in the closet while I'm trying to get ready) mommy, what are you going to wear?
me: i think I'll wear this black shirt if that's ok with with you.
you: sounds like a plan.
after asking you to repeat yourself to make sure i heard you correctly, i laughed and laughed.

oh, how I love you...you just don't even know...
i'll love you out of control forever.
sound like a plan?

So cute---I didn’t know about the other 2 things she said—just the” feeled my hurting”.  I love the picture, too!  Give them both a hug for me and a kiss!

Ahhhahaha! I loved that! She is precious! Aren't you glad you're recording these? I already look back on my blog and see that I've forgotten what AK did or said and I get to enjoy them all over again. :)

E is so cute. She successfully diverted your assertiveness with humor and cuteness. E and I have discussed this technique on several occasions. E, remember that the majic word is a last resort. If used at the wrong time it could trigger more assertiveness from mom. I would use it only when Pop Pop is present. Seriously...hug E and J for me. I miss them.

Wait til her daddy teaches her to snap her fingers, slap her rolled up program and yell "Get up three! Get up three!!". Now THAT will be hilarious! Love you guys.

I love these babies more and more each day. You are an amazing mother to them and an amazing wife to me. I couldn't ask for anything more.

Thank you for sharing the stories of your daughter! What a wonderful way to preserve precious memories.
