Trick or Treat...
What fun we had handing out candy to all the little kiddos! There were lots of great costumes to admire! I told one boy that he looked cute and he responded with "I know." I guess our neighbors had been telling him the same thing! Pepper had to be put in his cage...he is not a fan of masks. Abby wore her sunglasses as she helped me sniff out the perfect candy for the kids. As you can see...she enjoyed eating several boxes of Nerds. Tommy took a picture of me with the cutest little trick-or-treater...little Piper dressed as a cow.
At the end of the evening, Abby posed at the door doing her best impression of Miss Scary Eyes! Now were off to eat O'Charleys with Blake and Tex--the start of a Halloween tradition.

Halloween Festivities!
Tommy and I celebrated Halloween this year as....a hula girl with an exposed (fake) butt....and Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz! We were so honored to be joined by our good friends, Bill and Hillary Clinton (Carlie and Brook Peyton) and Fat Tony and his wife (Chris and Brigit) We had a great time at the couples costume baby shower and the Halloween bash at Mr. Ziadi's house! Unfortunately, at the end of the evening when I clicked my heels together-- we still had to drive home!

How sweet it is to be loved by...these two!
Pepper and Abby are enjoying football season with their dad! Though Tommy wanted them both to sport Bengals collars....we decided to stick with their normal attire!
Pepper gets his football out every Sunday! Tommy swears he knows exactly what he is doing. Abby just waits for someone to join her on the couch!
The cutest pumpkins in the patch!
Look at these little 4th grade angels! My class made pumpkin picture frames during the Halloween party on Thursday. Yes, I know that we were a bit early...but no school on Friday and a busy afternoon on Monday made Thursday the best choice! They turned out so cute. And....who knew they would get so excited about pictures of themselves! Somewhere here in Louisville....there are ten refridgerators with little magnetic pumpkin picture frames adorning them!
The Martin's Adopt a Weim!
Who is this toothless wonder?
Tommy's pumpkin...Is anyone surprised?
We traveled to Lexington two weekends ago to eat with some friends that we haven't seen in sooo long! We had so much fun. We carved pumpkins (we are quite fond of that!) and ate dinner. We also got to taste some wine from a local vineyard...it was tasty! Amanda and I laughed and laughed--Jonh and Tommy pretended to think we were hilarious!
Pumpkin Carving Party
Tommy and I hosted a PUMPKIN CARVING PARTY/CHILI COOK-OFF for our friends in honor of Mark and Jen moving to Nashville. We wanted to send them off in style! We had a great time and as you can see....there were some very talented pumpkin carvers in attendance! Mike won first place for his "Pug" pumpkin, which came as no surprise to anyone! Mike and Linds won first prize for their scrumptious chili. A good time was had by all! Even though we are so sad to see them go--we know that our friendship with Mark and Jennifer will withstand the big move to Nashville!
