April was a full month...and Jack's first birthday was definitely a highlight. I owe him an apology for letting his hair look so bad. I was blinded by love? Seriously, it's bad...and at the time? I thought it was the cutest thing in the world!

peeking in on his cake the morning of his party...sadly, there was a slight mishap with the stacking of the cake that left me crying and Tommy declaring that we would never again bake our own stacked birthday cake. And, starting with that very afternoon, we've had very solidly stacked, yummy Plehn's cakes ever since.

it is seriously so crazy how much older ella and jack now. i realize its been a year, but still. i like the blurry photo. that was a fun night. wish justin had been there.
can't believe how little jack looks! What a sweetheart! Love all the photos and brings back great memories of little jack's 1st birthday. I too love the pic of the 3 of us. Love Napa! Another great memory! All of a sudden I am craving a caesars salad....i am thinking girls night at Napa when lib comes to visit in february!!
